The Southeast False Creek Neighbourhood Energy Utility (NEU) at the south end of the Cambie Street Bridge is an environmentally-friendly community energy system that provides space heating and domestic hot water by using sewage heat recovery to supply approximately 70% of the annual energy demand to all new buildings in Southeast False Creek, including but not limited to the Olympic Village.
